Michael Parshall,
Bass guitar and Vocals

Mike breaks things; strings, equipment, bass guitars, and rampaging across the stage is what he does best. Having studied music in College where he acquired his Masters Degree in special education , Mike uses his accumulated techniques as a backbone for his funk laden (sometimes Prymus-esque) bass lines. Inspired by such rappers as Mike D (Beastie Boys) and Zach De la Rocha (Rage Against The Machine) Parshall has created a unique and aggressive style of flow that perfectly compliments Conspiracy of Thoughts musical, political, and social agendas. School teacher by day bombastic rock n roller by night, Michael Parshall is somewhat of a modern day super hero.

Tony Vasquez, Drums
Tony has played drums since the early age of ten years old. Throughout multiple bands and projects he honed his skills and perfected a technique of play that pushed conventional boundaries. Experimenting with drum triggers, electronic pads, and orchestral sound bites he finally broke the sole convention of acoustic drums. Tony’s musical influences are broadly ranging from KORN to Nine Inch Nails, Tool and U2. His beats incorporate elements of hip hop, funk, and industrial, yet Vasquez uses all of these styles in harmony-propelling Conspiracy of Thought’s music to the emotional breaking point.

Ben Stewart,
Lead Vocal and Guitar

Referred to as the pied piper of rock n roll Ben Stewart is a preacher a political activist a saint and a devil. Ben brings a conviction to Conspiracy of Thought that is truly haunting at times. His vocal approach emulates a gruff mixture of Maynard Keenan (a perfect Circle/Tool), and James Brown. Ben’s use of the guitar is as physical as it is musical, experimenting with feedback, delays and rock anthem like riffs. Borrowing from great rock orators like Bono (U2) and Chuck D (Public Enemy) Ben frequently, mid song in an almost possessed fashion begins preaching and screaming in the vernacular of the songs political, social or emotional thrust. Stewart is know to kneel at the edge of the stage while singing, reaching out his hand to the audience beckoning them closer, while one by one they approach him for an embrace creating an intimate connection with each of his audiences that most have never seen the likes of.

Dev Bassanoo, Lead Guitar, vocals
Inspired as a child by Beatles film classic “Ticket to Ride” Dev bought his first guitar at an early age and taught himself to play with only one lesson outlining the basics. Finding later influences such as Led Zeppelin, Jeff Beck and early Metallica, Bassanoo brings his flair of hard rock and the far-east into Conspiracy of Thought’s western rock n roll. Bassanoo has distinct eastern sensibility and influence when it comes to guitar playing. With an ethereal voice, like a mystic’s call to prayer Bassanoo gives vocal support in songs like “Jihad” and “I had a Dream” combined with his soaring guitar solos, punishing rhythms, and penetrating keyboard melodies he helps to set the mood for the musical journey that is Conspiracy of Thought
