A highly respected producer and keyboard player.
Ronnie King has been heard on dozens of records of many major recording artists too many to list. But of course we will list a few. Ronnie’s funkadelic –meets Devo sound can be heard on the OFFSPRING’s 2003 smash hit “HIT THAT” Ronnie can also be heard on albums of TUPAC SHAKUR , SNOOP DOGG, JOY KILLERS, T.S.O.L. GREENDAY , COOLIO, The Distillers and many, many more.
It has been BACK STAGE PASS’S pleasure to Have Ronnie King into the M995 studio and do interviews with him on The Sunday Night Music Meeting show.
Ronnie also stepped up in a very generous way and offered to not just judge and be involved in round one of the BATTLE OF THE BANDS, he also offered a song production deal to the winning Band.
The winning band turned out to be our very own TROUBLED MINORITY. Dwight and Laura joined Ronnie King and promotional coordinator Richie Rich for the Day in the studio with Ronnie King, The day long grueling work was very impressive to observe. Ronnie’s keen insight and unique ideas combined with the talented guys that make up TROUBLED MINORITY created what we can only assume will be a big hit for the band “Losing Control” which is currently being played on the M995 Music Meeting.
A big round of congratulations to our winning band, and a huge round of THANKS to the generous and talented Ronnie King. Please be sure to tune into the Sunday Night Music Meeting where we will be spinning songs from Ronnie’s very own new album. With a resume like his and talent to boot, his album will be a huge success.
Coming soon will be the Ronnie King interview, and pictures with The Offspring.
